I am assuming that the ultra generic PC100 DIMMS I see around the net are ok for a slot loading iMac, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't a special gotcha to be on the guard for. (I don't think I need to make an argument to prove Apple has done some proprietary weirdness before)

I would like to pop 1 or 2 512 PC100 DIMMS in my DV SE, and I was looking at just the straight PC 100 price leader at pricewatch for the RAM.

Thanks for any tips.
