I ran what I thought was the Panther-friendly iMacDV firmware update about a month ago, but I cant find the download and wanted to make sure it "took".

Is there a way to check the firmware after the installation to make sure you are on the right version? While I am atg it, what version is the one that it needs to say to be ready to go?

Thanks.

In the system profiler, there should be a line for "Boot rom version". If you are on 4.19f1 then it "took"

edit: it doesn't really need to have the "f1" at the end ... anything with 4.19 is the latest.

Thanks. It is 4.19f1.

I had missed that part of the profiler, because its below printer, and not having a printer, I sorta stopped my eyes from passing that point, I guess.

Thanks.
