Had my G5 for a month now. Last week it started not firing the monitor up on startup. Thought it was my monitor (switching it on and off a few times gets the signal and then all is ok)

After every restart and cold boot, no monitor. Read discussions now on Apple support and seems a common problem whatever graphic card is installed.

Second call to Apple I have a Service Centre to take it to. Bit p!ssed at £2000 computer faulty. If it affects other cards could it be the motherboard?

TIA
