I just picked up a 100-spindle of Sky DVD-R (4X), but I'm finding I can only burn about 1 of every 4 or 5 DVDs. Why? Hardware errors up the wazoo. The media that shoot sthe errors burns fine on an eMac with a DVR-104 in it. They also burned fine with my old Dual G4 with the DVR-105 in it.

Is my drive toast? I jsut got my G5 on the 15th...

INTERNAL TARGET FAILURE

I get that same error with my powerbook which I fixed by putting an ice pack under the superdrive every time I burn something.
