Hello, my B$W built-in FW has crapped out on me. Only way is to get a new mobo...hell no. So only other alternative is to get a PCI FW card. Which are the ones that are known to work well witht the B&W? or macs in general? i'm using 10.3 and i have an Adaptec scsi card installed in ther that works just fine. also what are some good ATA 100/133 PCI card that i can use on my B&W? i want to speed it up as much as i can---call it its 'last hurrah' before i bite the bullet and get me a dual G5

Well, this would be my personal recommendation.
FireWire as well as USB 2, kill two birds with one stone. It is 100% Mac compatable. Not too shabby for $31.

...And as far as an ATA controller card, I'd recommend this. I have never heard anything but praise for SIIG products. And if you haven't shopped with OWC before, I can assure you that they are excellent. As is NewEgg.
