Hello all! I was just wondering if anyone knew how to import burned CD files into a PC. Every time I burn stuff on to a CD (just jpegs and stuff) with my mac (G4), when I try to put that CD in a PC, it says the files are damaged. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

What are you using to burn the CD? Apple's Disc burn software or a third party app like Toast?

i usually just throw in a blank cd, wait for it to pop up, drag files into it, and then select "burn cd" from the "special" menu. i do have toast, though. should i use that? and, if so, do i have to make any adjustments to its preferences or anything? thanks.

Are you running OS 9? From the reference to the 'special' menu, I'd guess yes. I don't think the disc burning in OS 9 created a disc that Windows could read. I'd suggest using your copy of toast and making a CD that's usable on both Macs and PCs (I can't remember the exact phrasing of the setting, but it's under 'Data CD' and it's pretty obvious.
