Hey, I am currently running a G4 350mhz and it's really starting to feel a little on the sloow side with all these new video intensive apps like DVD Studio Pro, Final Cut, etc. Still useable but the NEED to upgrade is there.

I am getting a G5 hopefully Dual but I am waiting to see the next models coming.

Just wondering if anyone has gone from a G4 350 to a Dual G5 and how much better it feels.

Hit me with your comments on this experience.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Gonna miss this lovely looking G4 though, really love that design. Served well.

BTW my upgrade before was from a Performa 6400 to the G4 350mhz, that was heaven!

My lord, a 350 G4?

You will cry when you use a dual G5. Cry, I say. Hell, even a 1.6 single. CRY.

Yeah, I think it is safe to say that the first time you use the G5 you are going to wish you had worn a diaper shortly there after...

Yes, especially if you're doing video editing.

You'll wonder how you ever got any work done on the G4. The difference is like night and day.
Before my 2x2 G5, I had been using both a dual 800MHz G4 and a single 1GHz G4. Its not even a fair fight.
Can you say "real-time computing"

I think you'll be happy with the G5.

I went from that exact computer, a 350Mhz G4 to a Dual Ghz G4 and it felt like night and day... I can't imagine the contrast between a 350Mhz G4 and any G5!
