Hi folks:

I just had my motherboard replaced by the only Apple rep in town, which cost a bomb. Since I got it back it won't wake from deep sleep, and it never had a problem with this before. The disks spin up (I believe) but nothing responds and the Apple Cinema Display I have doesn't wake up. My only choice is to turn off the power. It's really frustrating because I'm on my G4 for at least 8-10 hours a day working and put it to sleep at times out of habit.

Worse yet I asked the Apple rep why this could be happening, and (truthfully!) I was given a shrug of the shoulders and said it could be anything. Even though nothing changed except the new motherboard they installed!

Anyone have any ideas that could help me out here? Anything at all, no matter how abstract it might be; I'm desperate and pretty much screwed at the moment, and the Apple rep doesn't want to help.

Cheers, and thanks in advance.
