My Quicksilver started to freak out, glitching up and freezing randomly. I removed everything, wiped drives tested ram individually, zapped PRAM, booted off CD, tried old system, same thing kept happening, was intermittent at first, then after about a month, it barely starts up before it locks up.

I can only assume it is the MoBo, or processor. Would the video card or powersupply do this?

Any ideas, or can anyone tell me where I can buy a QS Dual 1GZ G4 motherboard? Power Supply? Ebay has nothing.

HELP!

FYI: You don't need a Dual GHz specific motherboard. All of the QuickSilvers from the 2002 lineup used identical motherboards.

I might give them a try, from the looks of it it may be just as expensive as getting a used 733 off of ebay and using it for parts...except I am in Bermuda and Paypal won't accept our banks credit cards...pain.

Thanks for your help.

Have you purchased from them, and how was the experience? I'm looking for some GigE parts and was considering these guys:

I haven't purchased from them but I do plan to. I need to replace my old G3 B/W rev.2 MB. I have the same prob as ferg. (crashes 24/7, tested everything as much as possible to eliminate everythign else but the MB or CPU). I might just go to them directly since they are nearby.
