hey,
i'll probably be buying a desktop next december, i was first attracted by a dual g5, but then the monitor came in play. i really like the imac 20" but i don't want a g4 simply because within a year or so g4's will be outdated. i guess what i was wondering is, if powermac what monitor do u recommend (flat panel, i like widescreen, and not enough $ for apple display) and do u think theyy have g5 imac out by december or so, the reason i have to decide so soon is i need to go ahead and save for monitor. thx in advance for suggestions, btw i do photoshop, final cut express, not processor heavy programming, and other apps such as web design with dreeamweaver, and music with garageband.)

I'd get two Sony 21" CRT monitors.

You need screen real estate over sex appeal (ie Cinema) to happily run all those programs.
