At work we have a Dual 1 GHz Quicksilver and the story is that when trying to plug in a set of headphones the static electricty shorted out the audio jack. So now the audio out port will not work. We were hoping to save the port... any ideas? We aren't too interested in going the apple pro speakers route or any external speaker. Just headphones.
