After purchasing my new G5 (and gettin spoiled) I noticed that my left-shift+command+n shortcut no longer works. I use this option alot to create new folder and in Photoshop to create new layers. There is a catch though that is quite odd. If I use the right shift key+command+n it works just fine. Also the command(apple) key works fine on all other combinations such as command+f etc.. Anybody else had this problem? Any clues to what may be causing this. This machine is completly stock and has had no modifications to it besides Photosop 7.01 installed. Thanks for your help.

Yes it does. I took it into an Apple Store and they confirmed this is the weirdest thing they had seem. They ordered me a new keyboard which should arrive in 3 days. Weird problem to have.

I've seen something very, very similar with a wireless (not Bluetooth) k/b on a PC with Photoshop. It would recognise most keypresses (including those using the keys which were problematic at other times) but not CTRL-SHIFT-ALT-S for Save for Web. Most others it was fine with, and a replacement worked perfectly.

I'd love to know what the problem is with yours.
