I want to swap out my Sawtooth's DVD drive for a Combo Drive.
Is there a list somewhere of compatible Combo Drives? (i.e. manufacturer and model)

I was looking for a Combo Drive, not a "Super Drive"
I can't afford a DVD-R drive.
Or should I just save up for a DVD-R?

Your best bet for a combo drive would be the LG GCC-4480B. It is fully supported and can be had for around $40. Do an eBay search for it.
