I'm not quite sure if this belongs in Software or this.
Here Goes anyway
I was looking on Yellow Dog's sight and it says that the video drivers for the iMac DV have to be installed in text mode. What does this mean?
I've been looking at Linux as well as OS X.3 since I'm planning on getting a new HardDrive within the next month. This I would like to Partition so I could have X and YDL on it. (I can do that, right?)
Thanks for any Assistance

This means you have either boot into text mode (i.e. run level 3) or change into text mode by killing the X server or changing the run level (type 'runlevel 3' as root into the terminal). The driver has to be installed without a running X, because X relies on it and you can't change a driver "online" (well, most drivers).
