Did anybody know or used this. I would like to upgrade to this if its gonna work. I know the 106 will work but the price is almost the same the advantage is 8x on DVD. I used my powerbook 867 and it only burn at 2x which very slow.
Went to pioneer website and I did not see any system requirement for this.

For the Pioneer DVR-107, you will need to Patchburn II in order to work. I assume the next Mac OS X update will include the DVR-107 drive.

works out of the box with 10.3.3 version of OS X.

no need for patchburn.
