What would be the better choice for some basic desktop publishing (evet programs) and basic video editing, an iMac or an eMac?

I would tend to think one would want a 17" iMac to compare with the eMac (since the eMac has a higher resolution than the 15" iMac). Once you do that, the price is pretty different. What do you all think?

The iMac is smaller but more expensive. The eMac pulls more power, puts off more heat, and takes up more space. The eMac, you can easily get to both of the RAM sockets while the iMac gives users access to only one of the sockets.

That's about all there is to it. The specs aren't much different. Just pick out what you want based on your budget.
