It's a (Mac)rumor, again, but who knows (http://www.macminer.com/index.cgi?i=192994)? I bet on new PowerMac above 2 Gig, and a revised iBook line. On the other hand, the proposed event - NAB - speaks in favor of something more music...as does the media invitation mentioned.

Man, I'm really waiting for new PowerMacs. Why can't they put 'em out faster?

Apple shows off stuff like DVD Studio Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc. NAB isn't consumer related. PowerMacs are a possibility.

Gotta love the rumor threads.

Last year, FCP 4, Shake 3 and DVD Studio Pro 2 debuted at NAB. Since the Power Mac memory deal at the Apple Store ends March 27, I'm suggesting we'll see the Power Mac revision on March 30, with 10.3.3 in our Software Updates before that.

I agree with you. I think there are a few signs pointing to March 30 as a PowerMac release date. You've named a couple. Another is Apple is also presenting at a Bio-It conference that week - one area that definitely uses PowerMac G5s.
