Here's my problem:

I like my system and iTunes volume at 100% when I'm listening to iTunes but then my sound effects in Safari are too loud when I'm playing my Java based poker game, and there isn't any volume adjustments for it, only on or off, and I do still need to hear the game's sound effects, just not so darn loud.

Is there a way to independently set application(s) audio volume? Could I 'turn down' Safari but keep iTunes cranked up?

Oh, and I don't want to use iTunes equalizer preamp to jack up iTunes volume because it makes the songs sound bad.

Is there any solution for this?

Thanks for responses...

You can buy Audio Hijack Pro, which will let you set the volume for individual applications.
