Hi guys, Im using and iMac, runing 10.2.7 and Im trying to download fonts from dafont.com
I want to use them in Photoshop, Illustrator, indesign and word.
When downloaded, the icon shows on the descktop and Ive since dragged them to the fonts folder and then taken the fonts folder to the desktop folder, but its not working

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks alot for your help

Um, why did you move the fonts folder to the Desktop?

OS X uses fonts from 3 locations (4 if you're networked):
� /System/Library/Fonts (system fonts, don't touch)
� /Library/Fonts (available to all users on the machine)
� /Users/[your username]/Library/Fonts (available only to this user)
AFAIK, fonts in any other location won't be "recognized" by the system.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP WITH THAT ONE.
WHEN I DOWNLOADED THE FONTS, THE COME UP AS 2 ICONS ON MY DESKTOP, ONE SAYING DPI1 (OR SOMTHING LIKE THAT) AND THE OTHER WITH AN A ON IT AND THE NAME OF THE FONT WRITTEN ON IT.
I DRAG THE A ICON TO FONTS IN THE LIBRARY AND ALTHOUGH IT HAS WORKED SOMTIMES, IT DOESNT ALL THE TIME, DO YOU HAVE ANU IDEA WHAT I MAY BE DOING WRONG?
