I'm looking to find some numbers online that give me a direct comparision of the difference in speed between a...

G4 400 (1st gen with AGP graphics)
G4 733 Quicksilver
G4 1.25 GHz (current OS9 boot system)
G5 1.6 GHz and up (current stuff)

I need actual numbers that show the difference in speed. I'm having trouble finding a site that has numbers that carry over from generation to generation, it looks to me like they always use a different test.

I could also use an article discussing RAM use and size recommendations. Something I could pull some juicy quotes from.

Any help would be great guys, I'm trying to convince my boss that he's flushing money down the toilet every day he pays us money to use this peice of poop machines to try and do work for him.

You won't get quotes about RAM there, but you can compare the speed differences between identical machines with differing amounts of RAM.
