I am trying to connect my G5 and PC to my 23" HD Cinema display. So far all I know is I need a video card with dvi out for my PC, which I can find cheap on ebay....then some type of dvi to adc converter?

I'd like to be able to switch between the pc and g5, so do they make a switch that would not only switch between the two but also convert adc to dvi for the pc? Or would I need the converter and a switch?

Any recommendations?

There are alot of these on ebay...is this the way to go for the converter? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl....60235&rd=1

Thanks

What you would need is an ADC KVM and a ADC->DVI converter... totaling about $400.

Personally, I would just get a second monitor...

the Dr Bott KVM switch is a rebadged compuCable model, which i was able to pick up on ebay for $150. I use it with the 23" display and it works great.

AddLogix (The company formerly known as CompuCable) manufactures a variety of KVM switches for Apple ADC monitors. They have one for two Macs with ADC connectors; one for an ADC and DVI connectors; and one with two DVI connectors.
