...eMac 1.25GHz/256MB/40GB/Combo/E/56K-Refurbished $699.00

and

...eMac 1.25GHz/256MB/80GB/SuperDrive/E/56K-Refurbished $849.00

Of course, it's too early for refurb 1.25 GHz eMacs to be showing up in the pipeline, but that's how much they will cost when they do show up in Apple's "Special Deals" section.

That does seem to be the price trend with the eMacs. It will be a great deal.

Sounds about right. And they'll probably sell out even faster than the old refurbs.

The point is that this is not speculation...you can find these prices listed at the Apple Store right now.

Just go to Apple Store and search for "emac." Scroll down to "Special Deal / Refurbished Products" and you'll see the first two on the list to be the combo 1.25 GHz listed for $699 and the super 1.25 GHz listed for $849. Of course, they are not in stock, so you can't "Add to Order," but it's pretty interesting to see what the prices will be before they are even available.

Makes one wonder what other secrets lie behind the walls of the Apple Store!
