I have an imac (333mh) and a multipass c635 printer, running 9.2. I've had some printing problems, but now, when I go to chooser, it does not move mulitpass icon over. When I got to print the window for choosing number of copies, etc. comes up, but when I press print button, it says a printer has not been selected. Prior to this, I was getting a -199 printer error. I've reinstalled drivers and run NOrton utility. Please help. kathyk

Well a -199 error code means: mapReadErr Resource map read error. Mac OS 9 changed the way your computer looks at certain data. When a program makes a call to this data, it gets information which does not fit what it expects. Mac OS 9 quits the program and presents an error 119 to the user or tells the user to restart without extensions. Depending on the program, an update may be available to make it compatible with Mac OS 9 on the company's website. If the error occurs during startup, disable the extension which the error reports after starting the computer without extensions. The most common culprit for this error is ATM. Turn off ATM if it is enabled and see if that helps.

You should check your printers manufacture's web site to see if they have updated drivers for Mac OS 9. You might want to download them anyway and install them again even if you have the latest version. Reinstalling the drivers might work for you. If there is an option in the driver install application to uninstall or remove them do that first, restart your iMac then reinstall. If no option exist then just go ahead a reinstall again. Try the file called MultiPASS C635 Printer Driver Updater for Macintosh on the Canon multifunction web page and see if that works for you.

That's all I can think of right now. Hope either of those options work for you.
