My friend installed the 10.3.4 update on his 15" iMac FP and whenever he starts a game it gets Green lines that looks like static running up and down the display.Does anybody else have this problem? Im not sure if its the new nVidia drivers.

only in games?? That would seem to imply it's not the panel itself. Start with a hardware test from the Apple Hardware Test CD that came with the machine. Next, boot the thing from an older OS install and see if the problem is still there. If it goes away, report it to Apple as a bug. If the problem is still there, the machine probably needs a new logic board.

Once we started the game the Green static lines appeared. Then we ran the Hardware Test CD and it showed no problems, rebooted and now the lines appear when the login window appears. I'll try booting from an older OS. Thanks

I should also point out that the Apple Hardware Test is pretty basic. Passing this test does not guarantee good hardware.
