Hi, a friend that has a Dual 2 GHz G5, bought an iMac 15" TFT aimed to his 'office' work, he finally can drop the peecee out by a window Use is mainly Office v.X, but well, is there any software "aimed" to the iMac TFT you use?, yes, seems stupid, you can use software with the whole range of Apple computers, but maybe there is something that does wonders with an iMac :-D

Maybe just a desktop that really matchs the iMac aesthetic?

The iMac is so beautiful...

Thanks.

I just wanted to clarify that the iMac has an LCD, not TFT.

And, no, there are no iMac specific apps that I know of.

There are some iMac "themes" to be used with Unsanity's Shapeshifter, but that's only for looks.

Just my 2 cents.. TFT is a kind of LCD. I'm pretty sure it stands for Thin Film Transister, and it is the 'better' kind of LCD display. STN is the other kind that was less expensive but produced a poorer quality image.

The iMac does indeed have a TFT screen.

Oh, I see.

I was thinking the TFT was like the eMac's flat screen CRT.

Personally I'm not one for ultra bright/ultra low contrast themes. It becomes annoyingly dry at times and when the LCD starts to yellow it's damn obvious.
