Hi,

O.K I have a beige G3 that I decided was ready to have System 10 installed on it.

I put in the CD and double clicked. It executed the restart to boot off the CD than it gave some crazy message about not being able to change the start-up disk and it came back up under 9.2. So I went under the control panels and chose start up disk and changed it to the CD. I then restarted and now the machine will not boot up.

It will chime and that is it! The screen never lights up. I've tried holding down the OPTION APPLE PR keys and the C key but I don't think it is even reaching that part of the bootup sequence to recognize the keys.

Any ideas?

I may try bringing our external drive home from work tomorrow, putting a system on it and seeing if it will boot up off of it.
