Does anybody know what CDR drives are supported by OS X? I've got an old G4 that I'd like to put a new drive in. It currently has a CD/DVD player and I'd like to upgrade it to a CDR/DVD player, but I don't want to have to use Toast to make CDs if I don't have to (it's a political stance against Napster - gotta support Apple & iTunes!).

Any other web sites you can point me to for info would be appreciated.

Thanks

I use a LG OEM Combo drive in my Dual 450, fully recognised by iTunes, Disk Burner et al.

As a bonus it is cheap!

Pretty sure the model number is:

LG Combo Drive 52x GCC-4521B

There used to be a list on Apple's iTune info site somewhere...

I got this nice Samsung 52x write, read, DVD combo for like 80$. Works perfect with my 466 G4.
