Does anyone know if its possible to boot a gigabit motherboard-based PowerMac (DP500 specifically) off a MacOS X software RAID 1 (mirror) volume?

I know it can be done via a RAID PCI card, but can it be done without?

Apple's support search turned up nothing.

Never mind. Found answer.
(Its no, BTW. Xserve G4 or later desktop/server machines only).
