Hey, will Hitachi's 400gig sata drive pop into my G5? Okay, yah, I'm sure I can wedge it in, but will the G5 recognize it, or is there a maximum size that the G5 will recognize?

And if all signs say "yes", does anyone out actually have one of these beasts?

i would love to see apple start to use those in the RAID's. Imagine 14 * 400GB!!!

A dual 2.5, an xserve raid with 14*400GB, and an AJA Kona 2 capture card would make one hell of an editting system!

I'm seriously leaning towards getting on of these beasts, as my G5 has become a DV footage warehouse. 3 year old + miniDV camcorder = rapidly shrinking HD!

Now if I could just fing the necessary $500...
