On the Apple site, when you try to customize the G5 1.8GHz then you have the option to upgrade to a PCI-X Gigabit Ethernet Card. But how is it possible since the G5 1.8GHz doesn't have PCI-X slots?

Both the single and the dual 1,8 GHz have PCI-X slots.

Not the new ones. The new low-end Dual 1.8 GHz G5 does not have PCI-X, it only has PCI.

So......my point is, if there no PCI-X slots on the New Power Mac G5 1.8GHz, how can you upgrade to the PCI-X Gigabit Ethernet Card on the Apple site? Because Apple give you the option to upgrade it on the G5 1.8GHz.

Hmm...could be an error on Apple's part. Maybe a leftover upgrade option from the old 1.8 DP which did have PCI-X (since it was a mid-range model, not the low-end).

Heheh. I wonder if anybody has done that.
Doh! It was pointed out to me that the card WILL work, but just at 33 MHz for the PCI slot.
