I am looking into buying an eMac for a non-profit organisation, and I was wondering if it would be sufficient to run Adobe Creative Suite. It would only be used for InDesign, 6 hours a week and Photoshop and Illustrator, about 2. There won't ever be processing of huge images, at the max 40cmx40cm, and the 6 year old Power Mac Beige G3 handles that. But do you think this will be okay?

If you check out Adobe's System Requirements, it seem like you'll be fine (add more ram though ...).

Seriously though, with the iMac currently being at the same speed as the eMac, what other choice do you have without plopping down serious moolah for a G5 ? I'll definitely say this, the eMac will probably run ACS faster and better than anything else you could purchase for $800
