imac won't recognize WIN-DVD format

imac won't recognize home video DVD created on WIN-DVD, will play on Windows PC and on home DVD player. Running OS X 10.3, Any ideas?
FOUND THE PROBLEM!! SUPER-DRIVE BAD. WOULD READ CD'S OK, WOULDN'T READ DVD'S. SPENT TWO HOURS WITH iMAC SUPPORT TROUBLE SHOOTING THE PROBLEM, THEY WERE A GREAT HELP. MY iMAC IS ONLY 6 MONTHS OLD. JUST FYI FOR ANYONE HAVING SIMILAR ISSUES.

The disc is probably not closed properly.
