I am ready to buy a 23" cinema display as soon as they hit the shelves but don't have the scratch right now for the ACD and a G5. The G5 will be next year unless I really did a financial strech right now. Since Applecare is only available on ACD's if bought with a CPU, do I wait and buy both together or just assume a years worth of protection is good enough for a cinema display? Is it the sort of thing that if there is a problem you are likely to know right away or have you guys run into display issues in year 2 or 3? I'd love the G5 now but my DP533 still holds its own.

Seems kinda odd, but I would wait until I could buy it all at once so the display can be covered. Buying the display now won't make your old machine faster so live with it.

Save for the G5. Perhaps an even faster G5 will be out when you have the money?
