i went online to buy an i-Pod from ipod.com and, while i was browsing around the online store, i saw the i-mac computer. it is white like an i-pod, but what exactly is it? is it like a computer for the i-pod? i didn't know that i-pod made computers, but it looks pretty nice. the only problem that i see is that it isn't as fast as i'd like it, and it's sort of expensive.

has anyone here had any experience with owning the i-mac? how well will it work with my i-pod?

the iMac is a computer made by Apple

the iPod is an MP3 player made by Apple

iPod is not a company, Apple is a company

i-Pod is not an MP3 player made by Apple

iPods originally only worked with computers made by Apple (like the iMac) but then they opened it up to Windows users

Computers made by Apple do not run Windows, they run an operating system called Mac OS X

Mac OS X is an operating system made by Apple

Don't waste your money on an expensive i-pod. The e-pod costs less, but has a CRT screen in stead of LCD. You can get an e-mac to use with it for cheaper than the i-mac too. The main drawback is that these are only about half as fast as a PC.

holy crap!!1 your post stopped making sense halfway through.. the i-MAC is made by Apple IPod, but it isn't made by Apple? then what is i-Mac, if it isn't made by apple IPod, but it IS made by Apple? and what does apple have to do with all of this anyways? i thought apple IPod was the same company. what is the difference between apple and Ipod?

what do you mean it doesn't run windows? how am i supposed to use it if it doesn't have windows? do i have to buy windows myself at the store after i buy Imac? I want to buy an IMAC but I'm concerned now that it doesn't come with windows..

seriously, this is getting too confusing. i thought the I-Pod was supposed to be simple

Go to an Apple Store, near your area, they'll explain it to you.

The Apple iPod, Is the Mp3 player you know and love. The company that makes the iPods, is a computer company, called apple..

They make a computer called the iMac. Which doesnt run windows, But runs OS X.

The Differnece between an iPod and apple, is that apple is the actual company that makes iPods.

Once again, an apple store will make you understand.

You don't need Windows to use a computer. There are other, better systems out there that allow you to get your stuff done. One of them is Mac OSX, which is the best OS out there at this time. You do all the same stuff as Windows, just with fewer headaches and no viruses/spyware.

Head over to an Apple store or reseller for more info.
