Not quite sure where to put this topic - but seeing as there's a lot of chatter about the new iMac format and whether or not it might be aluminium......

Just saw the new displays today in Micro Anvika (London) - quite superb - they look so much better than the older ones. The stand is so simple and the overall effect is elegant.

Nicely rounded edges and interestingly the end panel inserts are white plastic, the right hand side having some touch controls.

Umm I'm pretty sure it goes in Peripherals since it's neither an iMac nor an eMac.

They are truly beautiful displays though, I have yet to see one in person

Pictures don't do the new displays justice. When I was in the Apple Store the other day people couldn't stop touching them.

I have a feeling that the new iMac will sport an aluminum enclosure.
