iMac Firmware HELP!

Ok, i was given a strawberry iMac, tray loading, to bring home and wipe and reinstall. Well I went to put os 9 on it and it says I need to upgrade the firmware, well I can't find it on the CD or online anywhere. Any one know where I can find it? The machine had 8.5 and I have a generic 9.1 CD

If you haven't already wiped it, have you tried just installing the 8.6 update and then try to upgrade to 9? That might take care of it. Here it is:
