Hey all

Just wondering how long deliveries are taking for all u dual 1.8 G5 BTO buyers in Europe?

Ordered a D1.8, 9600XT, no modem, no s.drive, Airport Ext, 160gig H.d on July 16th through an Apple Reseller as were £70 cheaper.

Now they can't tell me when delivery is going to be as Apple doesn't have a clue. Have had dates of Aug 4th then 11th which have now passed and still nothing.

My supplier reckons that Dual 2's are being produced with no problems, it is now 1.8's and 2.5's that they can't get parts for!

Am i being told porkies or are u guys having long waits too?

Apple are having BTO issues on all models in the UK it seems

No eMacs anywhere, my iBook just too 2 weeks longer than expected.

Also Mac dealers seem to have supply of machines only after Apple fulfills the Applestore orders...

I hate to say it, but you may be in for a bit of a wait.
