After tiresome morning fan-rages, application crashes and RAM showing up "bad", I decided to lobotomize my G5 and start over.

Reverting to the 10.2.5 version, I gradually made my upgrade path to 10.3.5 and all
was working smoothly and speedily.

However, this morning as I reinstalled my Adobe CS suite, my G5 started acting buggy again - applications quiting and the fans running hot/cold.

The coincidence was too hard to miss.

Any familiarity with anything similar?

For what it's worth, my Adobe CS Suite was built on a long string of Photoshop upgrades.

Anyway, if someone has similar experiences, please post here. It's my gut feeling that the crashes, fan blasts and application "quits" are not hardware, but software related.

That being stated, I might be trying to color between the lines with the wrong crayon.
