I have a PowerMac G4 (Quicksilver) that I configured at work using a CRT. Now when I connect at home to any of my LCDs, I get no display. I hear the startup tone, the drives are spinning and I can hear system tones eventually if I hit the esc key, so I know the system is booting.
But, no display! What can I do? I have tested on 2 LCDs at home and again on my CRT at work.
Here's what I have done since the last successful boot:
Installed an NEC DVD burner
Installed 512mb dimm.
The system did not want to boot with new ram, so I took it out, and now this problem. I have tried with and without the NEC DVD drive too.
This is driving me crazy. I have tried what I can find on apple's support area. I even reset the PRAM using the Control+Option+P+R, reset the logic board using the little button on it near the battery, and nothing worked. No signal at all to any monitors I have tried.
I don't have another Mac video card to try. I have a spare ATI Radeon 8500 64mb AGP, but it's the PC version.
Please help!!!

I'm not clear on whether it does or doesn't work with a CRT now, but anyway...
Did you try reseating the video card?

It does not work with any display. I have removed and reseated the video card and ram. I have tried each piece of ram that was in it before individually and together. I have removed all drives and reconnected. Nothing.

Might try Ctrl+Opt+Cmd+8 at home and see if you can force it into reverse video mode and kickstart it that way.
Maybe deleting the display preferences file?

I will try the first suggestion. The second, that could be hard since I can't see what I'm deleting.
Most suggestions I have received seem to point towards a dead video card. I don't know what could have killed it, but I will try to find one locally to test out at least.
