G3 Desktop with Hansol Monitor?

	I'm trying to hook up an old Hansol monitor (MAZELLAN 400A) to a beige G3 desktop. I have an adapter, but I cannot get the monitor to work. My adapter has six little white switches on it. Does anyone know which switches need to be "on" and which ones need to be "off" for this particular monitor? Is the problem not even related to the adapter itself? Whatever insight anyone can share would be greatly appreciated - thank you.
