hello

had 'fan failure' kernel messages every second since two weeks.
I've tried fsck -yf, hardware test, even some fan cleaning... = nothing.
Then re-installed OS ... and no more kernel 'fan failure' with 10.3.2...
but I've now upgraded from 10.3.2 to 10.3.5, and those 'fan failure' just reappeared...

Any advice ?

Thank you !

Maybe you have a fan failure? Take it into Apple.

BTW, fsck is for hard disk software problems, not sensor or hardware issues.

Probably i'll do that, because I now have other problems with my G5 (freezes, blocked applications, etc.), and I don't know if it's all have something to do with this 'fan failure'...

I've only found this thread :
http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/G5/G5_dri....html#storytop

but, well, still didn't try changing sensors' place...

thank you !
