Does the new 1.25 GHz eMac support 1GB memory modules? Apple says max allowed is 512MB x 2 for a total of 1GB memory. I have 256MB x 2 installed right now and would like to upgrade one of those to a 1GB module for a total of 1.25 GB. Anyone know if this will work?

Yes, but there are some limitations on particular chip configs that will work properly (so don't just go buy generic PC2700 -- it may not work). Basically, look for a vendor that specifically states that their 1gb sticks will work in an eMac. Transintl.com is one of them ... I bought a 1gb stick from them back in May for my 1.25ghz eMac and have had no problems at all with it.
