In fact, in the AppleInsider forum thread on this subject, the original poster 'fessed up to the hoax...after someone found "fake fake fake" embedded in the photo (only shows up if you pull the photo into Photoshop and look at the blue channel of the RGB image). It's a LaCie monitor in a PowerBook box.

when leaked pictures come out, its usually very rare that the leaked product comes with a box.
