Hi all,
Just got back from the Keynote and Expo. The iMac is beautiful IMHO. I created a small site with some photos that I took at the Keynote and Expo, including several of the new iMac. Enjoy!

Wow, thanks for the pix. Like all Apple products, the new iMac looks much better in-the-flesh. Its finish really reminds me of the original iPod with a clear acrylic coating and a very hard edge around the front perimeter.
As I saw in another forum (and agree with), the new iMac is really the next generation bondi iMac with just a modern display.
Very nice.

Your welcome for the pics. Glad you all like them.
- Not sure where the sleep light is.. they were all wide awake.
- Speakers are on the bottom of the iMac. The sound is supposed to bounce off your desk up towards you. Too much noise to judge sound quality.
- has a built in mic but I dont know where it is
- The fit and finish reminds me of the first generation iPod. It had a lucite layer on the outside with the white underneath. FAR superior to the finish on an iBook or an eMac.

This is a computer that is going to look better in person than in the pictures. I think the camera adds about 20 lbs!

Yes, I know I could buy a PC, but why?

variations of the 1 Series will not be hitting North America for at least another 2 years.... just buy the new 3 Series when it comes out next year.

I added a higher resolution shot of the inside of the iMac for those that are interested. It doesnt appear any larger in the slide show but if you drag it to your desktop and open it with preview you can zoom in and get a clearer image of the logic board and components. Enjoy!

Great pics! Really makes it easier to appreciate the new iMac. I'm getting my iMac when is available at my local store, I would hate to wait and wait ordering online.
Would say that the new iMac reminds you the iPod or the old iMac?

It reminds me of the first generation iPod that had the thicker lucite shell to it.

Phil Schiller said in the keynote that the sleep light was exactly opposite the power button, I believe. So I imagine it's underneath the plastic on the bottom of the right front.
