Didn't realise the new iMac was going to be announced today, but it certainly seems well priced and well specced, although obviously a premium product.

My old G4 is really creaking so took the plunge and ordered the top model with the big screen and larger hard drive, more memory, bluetooth, airport card and wireless mouse and keyboard.

Based in the UK, I'll let you know when it arrives and what I think of it :-)

On the order confirmation it said delivery 3-4 weeks. So I'll just have to make do with the QuickTime VR representation and a few pics.

My 12-year old car was due for replacement any day now but will have to wait at least another year...

I always thought the previous 'sunflower' iMac didn't quite work for me design-wise, whilst this one seems more mainstream and should appeal to more folk. Mind you, white doesn't really suit me, would prefer a metallic finish, but I still think it looks very clean and elegant.
