One more thing that impresses me with this new iMac is how easy it's going to be to take it with you. As long as that heavy stand is easy to disconnect it seems it will be easy to take your iMac along with you. My original iMac had a handle built into it but it wasn't too easy to take it to a friends house this new one, with the right case should be a "piece of cake" to move, maybe even take it travelling. I'm looking forward to see the different "tote" cases that will surely follow!

There were even carrying cases for the G4 iMac, so for sure, there will be nice solutions for the new G5 iMac...

I dunno. At 18lbs for the 17" and 25lbs for the 20" I wouldn't be lugging it around.

iMac Specs (lower right)

Are you kidding ?
18 lbs is not a lot, especially if you have a good case.

Well, maybe it's me, I have been travelling a lot in the last 3 years, always dragging around two suitcases with 60-70 lbs each.
18lbs is like my bagpack load...
