Hi

I was wondering if someone can tell me how to change my homepage ( word for word) in Internet explorer on OS 8.6 . I opened up internet explorer and I am under EDIT > Preferences

but im nto sure which submenu it would be under, and so i was wondering if anyone else that has an old IMAC could walk me through it- as all my friends Ive called that have OS X tell me how to do it- and that option isnt even there

Preferences->Browser Display->change the text of the homepage (or use blank). See where "htp://www.msn.com" is written. Just change it right there to whatever you want.
