Is it possible with the stock machine? Is it usable (I know it will be Slooooooooooooooooooow, but speed and usiblity are two different things)?

It's been done on the 6500. I couldn't get it to work but others have. Here is a link:

Huh. According to the XPostFacto website, it has been done, but it's not reliable enough for them to support.
