Macintouch has published some averaged XBench test results showing the relative performance of the new 20" 1.8GHz iMac against the original Powermac 1.8GHz, an iBook G3/800MHz and 450MHz and 800MHz Powermac G4's. They show the impact of setting the power settings on Auto and Highest for all machines, and also assess the benefits in the iMac of using 256MB, 768MB and 2x512MB of memory.
