I bought a returned Rev A model (great machine) recently (it had a faulty DVD burner) and it came with 10.3 installed but not iLife 04 (iPhoto 2, iDVD 3 iMovie 3 and iTunes 4 installed but no Garage band).
The install for the OS is July 04m, and I'd like to know if it's normal to not have iLife 04 installed on this system and also I'd like to find out when my machine was manufactured.
I sore a new post on one of the Mac sites (maybe Macintouch) about a site on the web where you can input your Mac's serial No and get a spec and manufacture date for your machine. This would be nice so I can work out how much of a guarantee I've got left on my G5.

Sounds like your Rev A. predated iLife 04, did it have any iPhoto/iMovie/iDVD installed, i.e., iLife 03. That would be unusual.
My Rev b. 2.0 had iLife 04 installed on it.

Wow, thank you for providing that URL, d.fine. I wonder how long this site will be up. Apple reportedly considers serial numbers and build information a trade secret, and it has squelched all sources of the information in the past.

It's been up for some time now, I just put in everything I have and saved it. Don't think they're gonna pull it down ...
